Now this is funny again. You, Stephen, included Taxacom. I just replied to all :-)
And as I said, I am out again where I should be.
Oh, wait, why was the preliminary version issue not dealt with? At our publishers meeting in London, it came up late in the day and I did not succeed to make its relevance sufficiently clear to the person who led the meeting. It was decided that we deal with it if ever problems emerge. Of course they would and they did, but at the time, this was not clear to everybody. You do not have much experience with committee work, do you? It had nothing to do with Zootaxa. And yes, even if you don’t believe me, it had nothing to do with Zootaxa.

Frank,

I would ask you to please not include Taxacom in a reply to an email that was not sent to Taxacom!

>You might want the research the ownership situation of this publishing
>company a bit more before making claims<

I cannot find any information!* Please point me to it. Note that the name "Magnolia Press" is not unique.

*I can find this: http://www.coys.co.nz/company/?no=1622082-MAGNOLIA+PRESS+LIMITED Jun and Shixiong Zhang are members of Zhi-Qiang's direct family. This is not an uncommon practice.

So, what were you thinking?

And why were your pleas for clarification of "preliminary version" ignored by your colleagues?

Stephen

 You might want the
research the ownership situation of this publishing company a bit more before making claims.
 You do have
 a problem.

 And you managed
it to get me in again (checking my "Clutter"
folder where your mail appropriately ended up).
 Out again!
