Felix and Heather,
Keep in mind that some genera are "dump into" genera, where many merely dump/lump
into a genus. Next, someone has to come along to break the "genus" into many parts.

What animal genera have more than 900 species? I'm hoping to find out how unusually species-rich the water mite genus Arrenurus is.

Thanks!
