[Taxacom] Why stability?

Here we have Stephen Thorpe whose idea of taxonomy
comes down to taxa defined by their types (this may 
work for insects, for all that I know) and who regards
anybody for who it does not work that way (taxa are
defined by taxonomists, with types not necessarily
being typical) as being deluded and benighted. It all 
has to be done his way.

No point in wondering why he does poorly in 
collaborative projects.
