The Systematic and Evolutionary Biogeographical Association (SEBA), the
Asociación Mexicana de Mastozoología, A.C. (AMMAC), the Facultad de
Ciencias
de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), the Escuela de
Biología
de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) and the Comisión
Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad (CONABIO) organize
the
Symposium of Biogeography: News and challenges, which will hold within the
XII National Congress of Mammalogy in Puebla city (Puebla, Mexico), October
29, 2014.
The aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers to analyze the
current state of biogeography, to make proposals about the most important
issues of Conservation Biogeography of mammals in Mexico and to renew the
council of the Systematic and Evolutionary Biogeographical Association
(SEBA).
