Still, if I look at the literature, the taxonomy of the Myrtaceae does not strike me as stable. The classification of Myrtaceae of, say, 25 years ago was rather different from what may count as the consensus today. I also have the impression one may get into trouble in Australia by voicing an opinion on the eucalypt question.
