Should we not also be systematically cleaning out incorrect data and 
putting gaps where there is no real data?  Is Ecological Niche Modeling 
still reassuring in the cases of (incorrect) data where there should be 
gaps?   (I'm flogging my favorite case, that of the giant aggregated 
data bases showing the occurrence of Frasera paniculata at the exact 
geographic center of Lincoln County, Nevada, when it does not occur in 
Nevada.)
