Taxacom Subscribers,

The Taxacom list has been heavily burdened by personal and professional conflict which has spewed ad hominem postings, accusations and volleys. Innocent bystanders have been victimized.

Peter Rauch (Berkeley) and I who co-manage the list are going to moderate the postings of any member who sends the sort of vitriolic mail that we have seen a lot of recently.  Most subscribers will remain un-moderated.

We have more list 'calming' options available, including the possibility of making the list completely DIGEST subscribers which would slow down the pace of rapid fire, back-and-forth interactions by limiting delivery of Taxacom mail to once a day or longer.

Barring submissions by e-mail address or domain name are more serious options.
