[Taxacom] When electing a neotype, how to define the other gender

It, the epitype, already has a category and that category is the category of 'Interpretive type', as stated in Art. 9.8; it is another type of type used in the type method which is the determination of the application of names of taxa by means of nomenclatural types. :-)

In a discussion on name-bearing (nomenclatural) types and terms
including the word element "-type" this raises the question of where
to assign the epitype. It is not a nomenclatural type (see Art. 8.1)
but it does help fixate the name of the taxon, so what is it? Should
it be assigned to a third category, all its own?
