OK - you did state plainly that Stephen is being regressive.  But will you
also admit that your comment on his "botanical expertise" was a personal
jab?

As for your final comment, I know nothing of Stephen's or your botanical
expertise and would not attempt to pass judgment on either without
additional insight.
