[Taxacom] Taxacom - split infinitive

I sought an explanation of this from an Professor of English many years ago (and that is probably whom we should be asking now). According to him, the rule stands. However, if, in this case, the adverb can be seen as part of a compound verb, it is fine to split the infinitive (which is actually not being split!). A test is whether the two components could be joined by a hyphen to help make sense (though the hyphen is unnecessary).
