Dear Mary,
Actually BHL has quite a bit on Stipa arida, including one of your papers http://bit.ly/11aweI9
The search results for Stipa arida are here: http://biodiversitylibrary.org/name/Stipa_arida
I suspect the problem is that the new interface makes it hard to see the search results. If you paste Stipa arida into the search box you get a page that rather prominently says "No Books/Journals found". However , if you scan along you'll see it actually has a hit in "Scientific names". The old interface made the results in each category easier to see.
Regards
Rod

I tried looking for a some names and decided that, at present, it will not be valuable for me. A search for each of Stipa arida and Achnatherum aridum yielded no results; a seach for Stipa yielded 3, one of which was for an animal that includes the string stipa in its name. So, nice idea - keep working on it.

A big step ahead. I hope <https://plus.google.com/u/0/115599971535973973155/posts/Ddxk49k4BwC> this is only the first step towards even more direct access to the treatments themselves, which would allow to link from IPNI or Zoobank directly to the protologs, and in general to first or redescriptions, as well as more efficient extraction of them and thus deal with the content many of us want. But this will need quiet some input from our side, but why not contribute for something that most of us just consume for free?
