Some slightly different approaches to lifting material off the web and
trying to sell it as legitimate publications are discussed under

The particular examples here are for mollusks, but I would be
surprised if equally bad material is not available for all taxa.
Searches on relatively obscure taxa often yield multiple hits for such
publications, since there are few legitimate hits to swamp these out.
