[Taxacom] Does the species name have to change when it moves genus?

of course, there are several projects currently afoot to create global resources for taxonomic name management across all groups ... but they are a little way off the ultimate goal as yet. Wikispecies is one such project. There I am developing more and more powerful data structures, e.g. check out, for example: http://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/M.C._Miller
and check the links like the reference page links and the categories at the bottom of the page ...
