Over the past 6 months I've been redeveloping the small tropical teaching glasshouse at Reading University to try to make better use of the space and to offer a more inspiring teaching environment. As well as new landscaping and some new plants, one of the upgrades has been to deliver wireless internet to the glasshouses so that on line teaching materials can be delivered that are suited to particular audiences - primarily our MSc in Plant Diversity, but also undergraduate and school level tours. The internet is now installed http://bit.ly/LDNiOy and I am preparing teaching material, however, I don't want to reinvent the wheel, and thought there must already be some examples of online teaching in glasshouses around the world. I'd be pleased to hear of any such material on the web - especially if I can re-use some of it!
