The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is searching for a Databasing Assistant in Arthropods.
The Databasing Assistant in Arthropods will assist in meeting the objectives of the National Science Foundation funded project: Southwest Collection of Arthropods Network (SCAN): A Model for Collections Digitization to Promote Taxonomic and Ecological Research (EF-1207186, 2012-2015). The databasing assistant will assist for approximately two years with activities related to databasing (KE EMu), geo-referencing, and digital imaging, of insect and arachnid specimens. The Assistant will also work with departmental staff and train and oversee volunteers. This position is Full Time term (2 years).

Successful candidates must have at minimum 1 year of experience in handling specimen collections and at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
