Worth noting for revelations over unnoticed diversity in yet another model
organism. The publication is a few months old, but I came across it today.

Identity of Pelodiscus sinensis revealed by DNA sequences of an
approximately 180-year-old type specimen and a taxonomic reappraisal of
Pelodiscus species (Testudines: Trionychidae)
