[Taxacom] ID of succulent plant sold at Burmese vegetable market

Dear all,


Can anybody tell the species name of the succulent plant sold at  
vegetable market
at Bagan, Central Burma.

The taste was fairly bitter and partly sour, but delicious if cooked  
well.

I have the faintest idea what family this belongs.
