One way to make Taxacom a little easier to deal with is to receive it
in digest form.  You get a single email per day more or less vs. 5,
10, 20 separate emails.  It is easy enough to scan through the table
of contents for each day's digest, ignore the tit-for-tat screeds if
you so wish, and home in on those posts of particular interest to you.
 The managers of this list seem to do a good job screening out true
SPAM, and in my experience taxacommers ultimately do a pretty good job
of turning down the heat when things get a little out of hand.
