[Taxacom] EJT, European journal for taxonomy : call for papers

Well Adam,

Yep! And how long have we been waiting for the "voluntary" ICZN - who
appointed/elected the Commissioners - to fall off the fence? Two years or
so ago opinions were sought and given. Some might think forget about them,
the ICZN that is. All publications, electronic or paper, are covered by
copyright and so plagiarism is illegal. Even the ostriches know that.

If people get into the habit of citing electronic sources and those sources
are archived, e.g. as with the British Library initiative
http://www.webarchive.org.uk/ukwa/
the "validity" will solve itself. Remember taxonomy has a self-correcting
process, otherwise known as synonymy, where necessary. The criterion of
much of science, e.g. replication of results by repetition of the
experiment, cannot apply.
