I presume you were thinking of the following:

Myers, N., Mittermeier, R.A., Mittermeier, C.G., da
Fonseca, G.A.B., Kent, J. Biodiversity hotspots for conservation
priorities. Nature 403: 853­858, 2000.

If anyone is interested, I have a list of literature pertaining to the
biogeography of Wallacea.
