Jason identifies one of the great things about TAXACOM. Anyone can introduce any kind of topic (at least in evolutionary theory) and anyone can chose to respond or not.

Dear Richard and Clark,
After being away for a while (and returning to the same morass) I have realised that there is no point in arguing this topic since there is no possible way to discuss it. Fluff doesn´t become any sharper on closer scrutiny. Best dedicate scarce time to more constructive topics. I for one will take your advice on the book, it sounds like a good read.
Best
Jason
