[Taxacom] Another big step forward: electronic registration of new fungal taxa

Botanists and mycologists voted for electronic registration of new names of
all "organisms treated as fungi" to become a condition for a valid
publication!

Identifiers of new taxa from a "recognized repository" should be cited
within the original description/treatment (protologue). This is exactly what
ZooKeys and PhytoKeys are already doing for their authors from the very
start and MycoKeys intends to do as well.
