[Taxacom] clarification about species descriptions

I am mainly referring to *diagnosis* and *description of anatomical characters* only. Clearly the other aspects of the description, s.l. are indeed important to examine directly.
This is the kind of information I am looking for:
- determining whether the type I see is actually the type
- just to find out that the characters that I need are not described (very common pattern)

Not sure I understand this:
- to determine whether the current species concept has derived from the original concept
Do you mean deviated?
