[Taxacom] The strain between Wikipedia and Science

By all the signs this is not a survey to gather information
on the strain between Wikipedia and Science. Any survey
demanding this much personal information (including an
e-mail address, not optional) creates the appearance of
having other (and ulterior) motives; thus nobody who puts
together a genuine survey would put in those questions.

Also, indeed, the questions avoid the problems that Wikipedia
is known to have. This survey is set up to show up Wikipedia
in the best possible light (those poor benighted scientists
just don't get it).

The good news is that the email address is not required to complete the survey, and there's a comments field at the end to hold the inevitable summary that a survey that repeats all the questions and takes 20 minutes to complete is too much to ask of experts, who are busy people. And as Francisco says, they clearly have not the faintest idea where the real problems lie (so it seems to me to be important to give them some hints).
