Dear all,

looking at various definitions of Gloger’s rule, I’ve noticed that heat and
humidity are always cited.
However, it seems that in the chapter concerning colour’s changes from his
1833 book « Das Abaendern der Vögel durch Einfluss des Klima’s » (pp.
11-23), no sentence refers specifically to humidity.

Maybe it’s due to my limited German skills, but I’d like to know if there is
any sentence mentioning the effect of humidity on colour’s variations in
Gloger’s book ?

Thank you for your help!

Philippe
