Hi Chris --
Check out the Southeastern tree resources at the UNC Herbarium website: http://www.herbarium.unc.edu/
Look under tabs for PIC website and OpenKey website. You'll find a complete key to Southeastern gymnosperms, and a key to common NC Piedmont trees.
You might also be interested in Bruce Kirchoff's (UNCG) visual learning resources for Southeastern trees.

Subject: [Taxacom] Online keys for North Carolina Trees?
I'm interested in incorporating online keys into my fall Basic Botany course at Campbell University. I was wondering if anyone could recommend good online keys to North Carolina or Southeastern trees?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated,
Chris Havran
