Asking your indulgence for posting here, Steve Hill would like to
encourage you to attend his upcoming seminar, Botanical Latin for
Application and Enjoyment (July3-9) Offered by the Humboldt Institute
on the beautiful coast of Maine near Acadia National Park.
Botanical Latin is a seminar with the goal of introducing interested
people to the fascinating world of Latin words and their uses in
science, gardening/horticulture, and in Botany in particular. This
will include immersion in vocabulary and botanical tradition, and a
goal to allow participants to be able to understand, read and write a
good deal of botanical Latin by the end of the seminar. Additional
goals - networking, field trips, and great food !
