[Taxacom] Importing water samples

A student here will be collecting soil and water samples from a location 
in Nicaraugua.  In order to conduct tests for heavy metals, samples need 
to be returned to the lab here.  I know APHIS has regulations for 
importing foreign soil.  Does anyone know if there are regulations for 
water samples?
