Not quite sure about that? The genus page has the following info on it:

on the face of it, this looks remarkably like a Wiki-style edit history, doesn't 
it???

That's good isn't it, but you are a hard man to satisfy.

It's not surreptitious - WoRMS is a database. Look at the child taxa to
see the edits.

Longer answer - Stop worrying. This is database output you are looking at.
WoRMS pages don't have an edit history as Wikispecies pages might have,
only the underlying records do. And the records themselves may not have an
obvious public edit history if something minor has been changed. It all
depends on what the edit was.

In this case your link refers to a display list of child taxa for a genus
entry.  Look at the child pages to see the edits. This particular page
would only show an edit change at the bottom if the genus name and detail
associated only with it  had been altered in some way.  Overall the edit
credit given in WoRMS output is more about telling users who takes
responsibility for the current taxonomic status of the taxon record.

That's my understanding anyway.
