Something that is quite noticeable is that this site appears to
be using the Cronquist classification, but these pages
http://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:apni.taxon:343065#classification
http://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:apni.taxon:347226#classification

label each subclass as "subfamily". Also the hyperlink to each
"subfamily" does not lead to a listing of the component orders
as it should. Better correct that ...

Hi Tony.

Thanks for the publicity. Right now I must emphasise that we are still working on a few final matters and the site is expected still to be changing and intermittently unavailable for a couple of weeks. I'll circulate a formal announcement when we're through this phase.

The ALA team and partners have been putting enormous effort into this integration project and we will be able to offer many tools and views which I believe will be very useful to Australian researchers and naturalists. We still have a great deal more we plan to add over the coming months. Once we are properly up and launched, I would value input from TAXACOM members on priorities for additional content, function and data linkages.

Best wishes,

Donald
