I noticed a dramatic drop-off in the amount of spam coming into my
inbox a month or two ago, similar to what happened a couple of years
ago when an eastern European server that was the source of ~25% of
the world's spam was taken down (and mostly what are left are
Nigerian scams and phishing rather than penis enlargement pills and
other "herbal supplements", suggesting a targeted loss).  Somewhere
a mass extinction must have taken place, which will no doubt soon be
followed by a radiation event...
