Dear colleagues,
Here at LD we have a huge amount of duplicate or surplus vascular
plant herbarium material from Sweden and neighbouring countries that
we are willing to exchange with anybody interested. Most of the
material is mounted on old sheets of various sizes and will need to be
remounted. The age of the material differs, but the nomenclature of
all labels have been updated to fit the latest checklist of
Scandinavian vascular plants. The vast majority of vascular plant taxa
found in Scandinavia is represented in the material so if you have
particular interest in certain taxa we may be able to fulfil your
request, otherwise you may obtain a random sample of the Swedish flora.
We do expect to get something in return, but almost any herbarium
material that is nicely preserved and properly labeled would be of
interest for us and the exchange must not necesserily be on a specimen
for specimen basis.
If you or your institution is interested, contact >torbjorn.tyler at botmus.lu.se
