[Taxacom] Objective synonyms?

New use of root 'synonym-', but I agree 100%. Surely botanical and zoological taxonomists are alike in wanting to know every name ever associated with a type specimen or its taxon concept? So, do we really need a new word to describe the items listed in a synonymy? Won't 'synonym' do?
