[Taxacom] Objective synonyms?

Yeah, there is a semantic ambiguity here which IMHO doesn't have a "correct answer"
In one sense, Uncia uncia and Panthera uncia are synonyms in that they are two different names (binomials) for the same taxon
In another sense (Mike Ivie's sense) they are the same name, just different combinations thereof
Jump which ever way you like!
Are misspellings synonyms? Again, yes and no! Arbitrary decisions need to be made for each purpose that requires it ...

The specific assertion is that neither /Uncia uncia/ and /Panthera 
uncia/ are synonyms, nor are /Canis familiaris/ and /Canis lupus 
familiaris/.
