[Taxacom] PH herbarium database updated and available online

The database of the herbarium of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia (PH) has been updated and is available online at http://ph.ansp.org/
 
Of the estimated 1.4 million specimens in the collection, ca. 42,000 are in the online database including ca. 27,000 specimens from the type collection and ca. 22,000 images.
 
This project was initiated with funding from the National Science Foundation (grant # 0545170) and currently enjoys the support of the Mellon Foundation as part of the Latin American Plants Initiative (LAPI)/Global Plants Initiative (GPI).
