You don't understand.  Adam wrote down all of the names of the animals on 
clay tablets. However, after eating fruit from the Tree of knowledge, he 
realized that he had not always made genus and species names agree in 
gender.  In disgust he destroyed the tablets thus making it possible for 
hundreds of otherwise unemployable people to spend their time complaining 
about having to look up the gender of Latin or Greek words.
