Dear all,
I am located in Lexington Kentucky and would like to have specimens of Megarhyssa (the genus with the largest specimens in the Nearctic, one that lays eggs in tree trunks). If anyone can send me fresh specimens I would be happy to pay for any logistical and postal costs. If you are within a 200 mile radius of Lexington and have noticed a tree with ovipositing females, please give me the details and I can collect them myself. I need them fresh, not in alcohol and posting would require dry ice. Specimens of Megarhyssa can be found most of the summer so please try to keep my request in mind over the next few months.
   With many thanks.
