[Taxacom] voucher labels and high-resolution X-ray computed tomography

Folks,

I'm curious if anyone has yet investigated high-res CT tomography on
whole Schmidt boxes then attempt to parse out the voucher label slices
for crowd-sourced data entry. Though initially expensive, I wonder if
this could be an attractive, non-destructive mechanism to help
accelerate the accessioning process that might very well be less
expensive in the long run than hiring small armies of students.
