Nomenclator Zoologicus also lists a Duncania de Koninck 1871 as n.n.
but also as different from the 1872 version.
Duncania Bayle is a replacement name for Macrocheilus Phillips, 1841
non Kirby, 1838. So is Soleniscus Meek and Worthen, 1861 (with two
later homonyms listed in NZ) and Macrochilina Bayle, 1880.. the
Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology also lists a Macrochilus
Lindstrom, 1884, but that name does not obviously appear in his 1884
Silurian Gastropoda and Pteropoda of Gotland (might be a typo tucked
away in the text somewhere). Macrochilus Agassiz, 1846 is an invalid
emendation; NZ suggests he used it for both prior Macrocheilus.
