[Taxacom] early-divergent angiosperms

Dear All,
       Thanks to those who have responded so far.  And it seems that the
winner thus far is Class Magnoliopsida (early-divergent angiosperms), or
at least that seems the least objectionable.   Early-divergent
angiosperms seems to also be increasingly popular in the scholarly
literature the last few years.      
        Anyway, does anyone have objections to this common name?  If
not, I guess I will cry "uncle" and give in.
