New call for proposals in regard to ‘taxonomic training and access to 
collections in Belgium’

Dear colleagues,

With the present message, the Belgian Focal Point to the Global Taxonomy 
Initiative, housed at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences in 
Brussels, wishes to inform you that on 1 February 2010 it has officially 
launched its new call for proposals in regard to ‘taxonomic training and 
access to collections in Belgium’.

Applications and CVs can be submitted online until March 15, 2010. 
Decision on eventual acceptance will be made by 31 March. All selected 
projects will be carried out between 1 April 2010 and 31 March 2011.

The Belgian GTI Focal Point will give preference to those applicants who 
need a follow-up visit to Belgium to finalize their taxonomic project 
started during an earlier call. However, new students will still be 
accepted.

We would be most obliged if you would be so kind to advertise this call

Nouvel appel à candidatures dans le cadre de la ‘Formation taxonomique 
et accès aux collections belges’.

Chers collègues,

Le Point focal belge pour l’Initiative Taxonomique Mondiale (GTI), situé 
à l'Institut royal des Sciences naturelles de Belgique, Bruxelles, 
souhaite vous informer des développements récents de son projet de 
renforcement des capacités en taxonomie et gestion des collections.

Le 1er février 2010, nous avons lancé notre nouvel appel à candidatures 
concernant la « formation taxonomique et l’accès aux collections belges ».

Tout dossier de candidature doit être soumis via notre système 
automatique de candidature, chaque candidature doit être complétée d'un 
curriculum vitae (C.V.) récent.

L’appel est ouvert jusqu’au 15 mars 2010. Les décisions seront 
communiquées aux candidats à partir du 31 mars 2010. Tous les projets 
devront se dérouler entre le 1er avril 2010 et le 31 mars 2011.
Le Point focal belge pour le GTI accordera sa préférence aux candidats 
qui ont besoin d'effectuer une nouvelle visite en Belgique afin de 
finaliser leur projet taxonomique commencé lors d’un appel précédent. 
Cependant, de nouvelles candidatures seront également acceptées.
