Dear All,

We are delighted to announce that it's not too late to register for 'Plant conservation for the next decade: a celebration of Kew's 250th anniversary'. We now have a full scientific programme of presentations, with leading international researchers presenting papers in six sessions entitled 'Plant conservation: policies and politics', 'Plant conservation: management and restoration', 'Plant conservation and human cultures', 'Plant conservation and agriculture', Frontiers of plant conservation technology' and 'Plant conservation: what can we afford to lose?'

Invited speakers include Dr Peter Raven, Professor Richard Hobbs, Dr Judy West, Professor Hongwen Huang, Dr Joseph Cobbinah, Dr Leng Guan Saw, Ms Sara Oldfield and previous Directors of Kew Professor Sir Peter Crane and Professor Sir Ghillean Prance.

Social events include two receptions, the conference dinner and an excursion to the home of the Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst Place.
