Back from vacation, I found this statement. It is wrong. ZooBank is an ICZN venture. The Chair of the ZooBank Committee is German (me). The ZooBank idea was born in the UK. The ZooBank Committee is composed of people from Switzerland, Russia (Nina Bogutskaya), Sweden, US, Germany, UK, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Australia, China, Denmark, Spain, and Malaysia. We know something about languages, and sometimes even have opinions. Be assured that we are quite diligent and do our best to accommodate language peculiarities.
