That would seem to me to be probably the case.
However, dental

One might make that assertion, but whether that is the case for hominid
origins has never been demonstrated. The current evidence suggests that
dental evidence is congruent with other morphological evidence.

I don't know for sure as the evidence as presented in of inadequate
quality for me to judge, and possibly inadequate for even a specialist
to judge.

At this time I have no idea where Ardipithecus would fall if outside the
orangutan-human clade.
