Colleagues & Taxacomers,

I would very much appreciate information regarding the nomenclature and description of Melaleuca genistifolia. In Bailey & Bailey's Hortus Third and in The Royal Horticultural Society Dictionary of Gardening, Melaleuca genistifolia is said to be a synonym of Melaleuca decora (Salisb.) Britten. How does Melaleuca genistifolia differ from Melaleuca leucodendron. I need a description of Melaleuca genistifolia also.

I wonder if someone can enlighten me on the status of Callistemon citrinus and is Callistemon viminalis synonym of C. citrinus? I consider them as two different species but could not make out the differences between them.

Best regarda and thanks in anticipation
