I haven't looked, but you should check out resources on iTunes U and
maybe AIBS (American Institute of Biological Sciences, http://
www.aibs.org/eye-on-education/) and COPUS' activities from the 2009
Year of Science (http://www.copusproject.org/) as well as search
blogs for leads (ScienceBlogs, Discovery, and many independent
blogs), and although this is a high school biology class, the things
that Stacey Baker is doing http://missbakersbiologyclass.com/blog/
are innovative and engaging students (featured recently on Science
Friday http://www.sciencefriday.com/program/archives/200909253).
There are also a number of podcasts relating to the sciences that
could be chosen http://www.inhs.illinois.edu/outreach/podcasts.html.

Cheers!
Gail
