Also the CBC Ideas program has been running a series of biographical 
pieces about Darwin which even some who consider him a model citizen 
regard as cringingly obsequious.

Maybe what we need is memorials to all the whoop and holler that was 
emitted at the 100th anniversary of the Origin, in 1959.
