The Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) is preparing to move
again, from the current interim space into our new permanent,
LEED-certified green building, adjacent to the Fort Worth Botanic
Garden. This will disrupt normal herbarium business for 12 months,
though parts of the collection will be accessible at times.
Please hold shipments, and contact us before scheduling any visits,
between April 2010 and April 2011 (scheduled grand re-opening). Also,
please submit any loan requests before March 2010.
We look forward to being able to better serve the botanical community
with much-improved space and equipment! For more information about our
new facility, please see http://www.brit.org/brit-future/.
Thank you for your patience during this time!
