Phylocode supporters may be all strict monophyleticists, but the reverse
is not true by any stretch.  The defenders of methodological purity
among self-professed strict cladists (e.g., those who believe that
maximum likelihood is an invalid method of analysis) are the strongest
opponents of the Phylocode.
