[Taxacom] FW: Please help me identify.. old garden site

Thanks to all who replied. It does look like Clematis integrifolia, 
especially in the image at this site: 
http://www.desert-tropicals.com/Plants/Ranunculaceae/Clematis_integrifolia.html. 
I thought the flower looked like a Clematis, but the leaf shape put me off.
